Empowerment Conference aims to provide tailored resources, workshops, and updates to meet the needs of our Regions and Hermanas. The structure is meant to target business, development, and sisterhood within a weekend. This conference is designed to realign entities for a productive conclusion to the fiscal year.

March is Women’s History Month and we dedicate this month to commemorate and educate our audiences through events that highlight our empowering organization. Diva Month is inspired by the Sorority’s Metas and philanthropy, and reflective of our mission to educate and empower.

We are a proud participant of the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb for it’s in support of the Sorority’s philanthropic initiative, Asthma Awareness. Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Inc. proudly sponsors the event and fundraises annually for the effort.

The Lung Force Walk is an annual walk/race that honors those directly affected by lung disease, helps raise awareness of the cause and raises funds for those that are impacted. Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Inc. has participated in the Lung Force Walk since 2006, after the death of a fellow member due to asthma.

Boston, Massachusetts
The Lambda Diva Leadership Summit, also known as LDLS, is an annual convention held before the start of the Fall semester for our members. LDLS is a weekend-long event where the National Leadership and the Assembly come together to conduct Sorority business.

Regional Locations
The National Day of Service started in 2012 and has become one of the key initiatives led by NALFO and its members. All service projects are organized by volunteers from NALFO member organizations: Regional Coordinators and Project Coordinators.
Summer 2027
Puerto Rico
Emerald Gala is a formal event that celebrates Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Inc.’s years of love, dignity, and pride. Since 2012, Emerald Gala has been a milestone event that takes place during the Fall semester every five years. In 2027, Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Latinas Poderosas Unidas, Inc. will celebrate 35 years as an organization at the Emerald Gala.
